Background:
This group of bloggers, hobbyists, writers, students, entrepreneurs, and professionals alike was created in the blogging and social networking site ©Tumblr. The group has communicated to the numerous online internet users through posts and blogs about family life, personal dilemmas, school stuff, unique experiences, issues about the world, and just about anything. It has been a channel of communication on which members can express their thoughts and emotions without experiencing any harsh judgments. It has also served as a foreground on which the youth of Cagayan de Oro City have interacted with each other and discussed various concepts on how they could design programs which would benefit the entire community.
Mission Statement:
Cdokada is not just a mere blogging group for it responds to the different social needs of the members of the community by providing programs, activities and events that allows them to express themselves freely according their emotions and or thoughts. Cdokada encourages its members to utilize and nurture their talents to be of service to the greater community.
Objectives:
As a group of individuals with different backgrounds and experiences, we aim to:
1. Create a strong fellowship among the youth and the members, especially here in Cagayan de Oro City.
2. Grow in sharing our story and learn from that of others.
3. Educate youth and members about global issues.
4. Immerse ourselves to marginalized sectors through outreach activities & the like.
5. Influence others to create and be part of a responsible group of future leaders.
6. Connect with people from different walks of life.
7. Preach, teach, lead and live the responsible life to excite and inspire young people through our blogs and personal experiences.
Recent Activities:
1. Daily interactions happening in the dashboards of the ©Tumblr site.
2. Meet-ups
Spearheaded by an active student and blogger Roie Ambulo, the group has done several meet-ups which paved way for more realistic interactions of the members, as well as discuss personally the things happening in the virtual world.
3. Outreach Programs
In partnership with ©Captured Cagayan de Oro, the group has done outreach activities which helped our marginalized brothers and sisters in Cagayan de Oro.
