Soooo, we had our meet-up last April 30 to May 1. And, I’m just gonna share some photos that I have in my camera.. Enjoy! :)

Well, this is the “shy” part. When I arrived there I thought I would be out of place, but luckily Marco’s there.. So, voila! Smile :)

Cham’s - HEART TO HEART TALK. (agad-agad?)

Well, after Gab’s.. We decided to move to a place where we can spend less. So, we went to some bars, but sadly most of them were close, I mean all of them. Someone suggested that we’d go to Cham’s in Corrales.. We hired a rela and paid 3pesos each.. Since there were 11 of us, we only paid 33pesos. Yey! When we got there, we rearranged the chairbles (chair + table) LOOOOL!!!! SO MUCH WIN!! Hahaha. Anyway, yeah.. We rearranged it (ga buot-buot lang man gud mi!) and voila!! After rearranging, we bought 1 long neck, and juice. In less than an hour, hurot na sya doh! Hahaha. So we bought another one! During the session (session jud oy?!), some of us got very loquacious (BEST PART) hahaha, we started talking (talking or libak? hahaha) about this particular someone………………………………….. THE END.

Hahaha. Jk! After that, we also planned about going to the beach.. But some of them disagreed. Guess who were present at the beach???

THE SIX OF US!! Pero we had so much fun! :)

This was the best part of the day! BANGKA-BANGKA! 

Around 5pm, we packed our things because it’s time to go home.. :)

May 1, 2012. It’s CDOKada’s 2nd Anniversary!!!! :)

Unlike last year (1st anniversary), we celebrated our 2nd Anniversary through a simple get-together yesterday (April 30). This was also our 6th CDO Tumblr Meet-up.

Yesterday, naganap ang 5th Tumblr Meet-up ng CDOKada. Pero para sa akin, yesterday was my first. (YES! Naka.experience na ako ng meet-up. HAHAH!!! >.<)

But bago ang lahat, let’s start from the beginning…

Mga 12 pm kahapon nung pumunta ako sa kanila Jeed (Trip2DMax) kasi malapit lang nman ang bahay nila sa bahay ng Lola ko. Pag.abot ko dun, yung kapatid niya - si Mickee (Otakumi) - ang sumalubong sa akin at sinabihan ako na tulog daw si Jeed. So Ginising ko siya and we talked about our final plans. And since nandun na ako sa kanila, niyaya ko na ang kapatid niya na sumama sa amin. Pero unfortunately sabi niya na nahihiya daw siya and sa susunod na meet-up nlang daw siya sasama. So after nun umuwi na ako sa amin and nag.ready para sa meet-up.

After kong mag.prepare, mga 1:30 pm na ata yun, nagmadali na akong sumakay ng jeepney papuntang Limketkai Mall. Ang planned meeting place naming tatlo nila Jeed and Jireh (GossipBoyJC). Nkaka.inis lang yung jeepney na nasakyan ko kahapon kasi ang tagal umalis sa Gaisano. Kuha ng kuha ng mga pasahero. Pero hindi ko rin nman sila masisi, yun yung trabaho nila eh. Then mga 1:56 pm, nag.txt si Jireh sa akin ng “5 min. nlang hihintayin ko, pag d pa kayo umabot uuwi na ako.”. SHOOT! Natakot ako dun sa txt ni Jireh. Pero mabuti nlang at joke lang pala yun. Mga 2:05 pm, dumating na ako sa Mall (FINALLY!!!). Then nagkita na kami nila Jeed and Jireh. After a while sumakay na kami ng taxi papunta sa Rotunda.

Mga 2:40 pm, dumating na kami sa Rotunda. Iilang tao pa lang yung dumating doon. Akala tlga namin na late na kami. Then after a while nagsidatingan na ang mga organizers and nagsimula na finally ang meet-up. Pinaka.una nming ginawa, syempre, ang ipakilala ang aming mga sarili. I really liked that part, kasi nalaman ko na may Otaku din pala dun si Renz (Renzara). The may isang girl dun na umamin na crush daw niya yung name na “Jio”. WTFudge!!?? Hindi ko lang alam kung ang ibig sabihin niya na spell ng “Jio” is the usual “G-E-O” or yung katulad sa akin na “J-I-O”.  Heheh… .Na.bigla nman ako dun sa sinabi niya. Pero noon lang nman daw yun. Ngayon hindi na. (HAHAH!!! LOL!) Then inumpisahan na nmin ang t-shirt prainting/signing. Ang saya ko tlga nung time na yun. And natatawa ako ky Sheila (Sheilaistheman) (pronounced as “Shella” not “Sheela”. :)) kasi gusto niya lagyan ng nipples ang lahat ng nandoon. Kakaiba din ang trip niya ah. Heheh… . Then after a while, nagulat ako sa taong bumulaga sa akin na nka.itim. Si ate Claire (Dollishface) lang pala. Heheh… . Pagtapos naming magkita, nag.meet na sila nila Jireh and Jeed. Then usap2 habang nag.ppaint. And pagkatapos ng pag.painting2 nagpapicture na kami as a group then one by one.

Then after ng event, nag.yaya ang mga organizers na magkaraoke. So sumama nman kami. And tinuloy namin dun ang getting to know each other part. Ang rami kong nalaman about sa CDOKada. Then natatawa ako kasi dalawa sa members nagsabi sa akin na kamukha ko daw si Dan (Bukopan-Dan). Ewan ko lang anong pinagkapareho nmin dalawa. Heheh… .Kayo na ang bahala kung mag.aagree kayo sa kanilang dalawa o hindi. Then mga 6:30 pm, na.una na kami nila Jireh, Jeed and Ate Claire sa pag.uwi. Gabi na kasi and gutom na rin kami nun. Heheh…

All in all, yesterday was deffo one of the most memorable event in my life. Sa mga nakilala ko, again, it was really nice meeting you all. I had the time of my life. Hope we can tighten the bonds between us and really become true friends. I’m looking forward in seeing you all again on the next meet-up. :)

It felt like buying a new book. The sense of excitement; the sense of wonder above all.

I was wondering why I agreed to go to the 5th Tumblr Meet-Up. I told myself I needed it. I told myself I had to. I need to meet new people. I told myself it would be good for me. And it was. It really was.

That was the day that I didn’t mind people messing with my shirt, writing anything they want. We wore white shirts, white plain shirts. It made it all the more fulfilling. We never really realized it, but it made me feel like we were filling up a wide canvas. We were filling up ourselves with the people that we’ve just met. We put our awkwardness aside once we got hold of paintbrushes, markers and spray paints. 

The white day was all about wearing your smile, go to a co-tumblogger and hold up your marker (or paintbrushes), the other person nods and you’re permitted to write/ draw anything you want on his/her shirt, while pouring out whatever you can pour out of yourself so they’d know something about you. In a sense we were painting a little of ourselves into each other’s shirts; to leave our mark. It’s fun. It’s amazing. Although I didn’t get to spread my rainbow drawing as I’ve planned, it did work well with some of the few shirts that landed on my “artful” hands. 

I’ve not washed the white shirt. I have no plans. 

I smiled a lot that day. I didn’t know that people actually read what I write. My idea of readers were always the people I know and who knew me. It’s different when other people read what you write even though they’ve never met you. This makes me want to write more.

 Thank you CDOKada for bringing CDO tumbloggers together. It was a huge pleasure for me to meet you all. 

That day was a start.
